Tattoo Removal

At EOS Tattoo Removal, we understand the challenge of removing ink that is meant to be permanent. We know that every tattoo is unique and requires a tailored approach. As a result, the number of treatments needed for complete removal may vary. On average, treatments typically last only 1-3 minutes of your time, ensuring a quick and convenient experience. For larger or more complex tattoos, we may require a few extra minutes to ensure thorough treatment. Following each session, we provide you with detailed instructions to support your aftercare, and we schedule your next appointment in 6-8 weeks. With our expert guidance and support, we believe in your ability to achieve the ink-free skin you desire. You've got this!

What does the laser even do?

Well in short words, lights and science.

In long words: Tattoos fade a little (or a lot) over time, this is because your body is absorbing the small amount of ink particles that it can on its own. The reason your body can’t do all the work is because the ink particles in the skin are too big. Thats where the laser comes in. Our laser breaks up ink particles into small pieces to allow your body to flush these ink particles out. Which is the reason why we space your treatments around 6-8 weeks apart, your body needs time to flush those pesky particles out. The tattoo will be the most faded before your next treatment.

“I saw a video on the internet of a tattoo being removed in one treatment.”

— Everyone lol

Let's set the record straight on tattoo removal misconceptions. We've come across countless claims of tattoos magically disappearing in a single treatment, thanks to viral videos on the internet. However, we're here to provide you with accurate information. That "white layer" you see in those videos is called laser frosting, a temporary phenomenon caused by gas bubbles released from the skin as the laser interacts with the tattoo pigment. What those videos fail to show is that laser frosting typically fades away within approximately 15 minutes, and it's most noticeable during the initial treatment. Once the frosting dissipates, you can expect some redness, swelling, and a sensation similar to a mild sunburn for a few days. Any discomfort experienced is usually short-lived and subsides within a week. Ultimately, following the treatment, your tattoo will generally appear similar to its pre-treatment state. At our clinic, we prioritize providing accurate information and managing realistic expectations throughout your tattoo removal journey.

After laser frosting is gone.

This is when your body is getting to work. Your white blood cells will carry away the ink that was broken down during your treatment (just like they’ve always wanted) and with time your tattoo gets visually lighter (like you’ve always wanted). Since ink is considered cosmetic it is not regulated by the FDA, all brands and types of tattoo ink are made differently. This is one of the main reasons why we can’t guess how many treatments your tattoo will take to be removed. Each tattoo fades at its own rate even if its on the same body.
